Today's cartoon featured Carolina texting while driving which I understand is becoming more and more common. While Carolina managed to get away with it the rest of us who don't live in a cartoon world should realize how dangerous texting while driving is and avoid doing it. Of course all Working Daze readers are highly intelligent and have exquisite taste so I am sure none of you are guilty of this. :) Just try to keep your non-working-daze-reading-friends informed.
If you must text pull over to the side... (Then turn of your communications device because you are using it too much.)

Cars should be equipped with a text jamming device that prevents cell phones from receiving text messages when the engine is running. No matter how hard we try, there will always be idiots out there who will misuse anything, and then another law will have to be made and fines levied against all those who feel that the law doesn't apply to them. Too bad so many of them wear a badge! In NY state it has been illegal to talk on the cell phone while driving , unless you have the hands free device. I see people yakkin' away all the time, but the most blatant about it are the POLICE! The technology exists that they could have a full set of coms devices through one receiver and never have to take their hands off of the wheel to use it, but noooo, that might be too safe and logical for a government entity.

is there a word missing or a missspell. i am not familiar with the comcept: turn of ........... seems weird or is it just me.
